CAMP OPEN HOUSE

It was a beautiful spring day to welcome several enthusiastic families with future campers. Rhonda, Jason, Springer, and Janis gave tours of camp, and Jason taught archery to one group of boys. Rhonda provided delicious refreshments. Even though it turned cold in the afternoon, that didn't stop one family from visiting and touring - even through the mud on flag field. Camp Fair Report

The camp fair at North Point Mall went great. Lots of families stopped by and many were very interested in Camp Dixie!
Brandon, Cassie, and Springer did a great job talking about camp. They carried on the tradition well – several parents and another camp director remarked about how well they did and were impressed they had spent so many years as campers and are now counselors.

Come join Rhonda, Jason, and some of the counselors at North Point Mall for the first Camp Fair of 2011. It will be held Saturday Jan. 22 from 11am to 4 pm. This will begin the 97th season of Camp Dixie!

This is a great time to bring interested families to come meet Rhonda and Jason and see what Dixie has to offer. Also it’s a great time to catch up with old friends who stop by. So Dixie alumni – come on by, wear your Dixie t-shirt, and encourage others to experience what we have had the privilege to find at camp.
